Web Statistics for Dummies (part 1: Sales)

Don’t be scare off when you hear about product creation or the term ‘product’. Basically a product can be almost anything you put together that pass on quality information, and contrary to what you may think, it can be created very easily once you know how.
An important element of a paid product is it must consist of information or resources that are not available elsewhere for free.
This is obvious if you’re the intention of selling it, which is different from using it as a lead generator. I’d like to point out three important elements that will greatly increase your profits in the long run.
1) Use PDF to deliver the information. This is so even for software, simple place the download links in the PDF document. The reason is because PDF is a universal application that can be read by all computer users, plus it’s faster and safer to download for the user.

2) Build in viral marketing mechanisms into your PDF. Include your website URLs prominently and strive to build a targeted opt-in list at the same time.

You should optimize your page for minimum three keywords-for three keywords your page should be highly relevant.for that you need to choose better keywords,choosing keywords is not a game of guessing.it is one science.Write your site’s content using the keywords for which users search, and you’ll literally be speaking the same language as your visitors.

Over the years the search engines were the target number one on the hunt for visitors and traffic to millions of web sites. In an attempt to keep the search results accurate and still delivering what the user is actually looking for, search engines cracked down on spammers and other sneaky web masters who wanted to beat the system with some very innovative tricks.
Not only did these tricky web masters skew the search results, they also forced the search engines into some drastic measures that were not very effective and many innocent bystanders found themselves as a victim of this. From one day to the other many web masters watched their 200+ pages web site completely vanished from the index. Not a trace left of a once high ranked web site. How could this happen?

It is used in marketing to deliver mini-advertisements, teaser courses, demo extracts, testimonials or stepped sales letters, and all of this is designed to get the client eventually to click on the “buy me now” link for the main product that is being promoted.
There are three main problems with chained auto-responders. Avoid these, TEST your linked auto-responders before you inflict them on the general public, and you should see significant increases in your sales.
Problem No. 1 - No Content Beyond Selling
This is THE most VIOLENTLY annoying class of chained autoresponders - message after message from the same place, trying to sell you something, in so many different words. YUCK!
What marketers who don’t THINK seem to forget is that folk who own and manage PCs and email aren’t that stupid.
They can read and write, you know, and they are not IDIOTS.
After two or three repeats, they will immediately delete such messages from their inbox and probably put a spam block on the sender domain for good measure.

First and foremost, select the currency of which you locally trade in. You may think its wise to start your Adwords account in USD, but if you do not live in the USA you may get a shock when you find how much you have been charged.
2) Use negative keywords,
You are using the Adwords service to generate website traffic, so obviously you want the right traffic to generate revenue. Start by using negative keywords for people whom you do not want to click on your advert, the best place to start is the keyword "free". As I doubt you want to waste money on traffic that will not generate revenue.

Blogs are a type of website often defined as an on line journal or diary. Although there are many blogs where the blog author keeps a log of their own thoughts, experiences and ideas, bloggers also frequently share and discuss information from other sources.

Counselors, therapists and other healing professionals often shy away from using technology when marketing their practices. While there are many effective ways to market your practice that don’t involve technology and the web, the Internet increasingly becomes an essential method to utilize when starting and marketing a practice.
Furthermore, if you market your practice on the Internet in addition to using offline techniques, you are creating a lot more exposure for your services. Blogs are just one more method of marketing your practice.
